Dedicated in thanks to Sekhmet for her many gifts and her protection of people, creatures and the forest. Life size statue is surrounded by temple panel walls used to create a temple on the beach for the annual Isidis Navigium rituals of Isis each March. Sekhmet is a deity and archetype of personal empowerment, particularly for women. Thanks to Roy, Mike, Melody and Shelli for their contributions to the temple space located on sacred Chumash land.
