Lure of the Bright & Golden Future - My Conspiracy Theory

The human mind is the world's next battlefield.

I just finished reading Dan Brown’s new book, Secret of Secrets, and one statement in that book hit me like a ton of bricks.  It was “The human mind is the world’s next battlefield.” It really got me thinking.  Of course I knew about the decades of mis-information and dis-information being spewed from media outlets like Fox News and their ilk with their daily tsunami of fear and justification for cruelty and divisiveness.  I know about conservative brains with a low tolerance for change and the tendency to go into fear mode.  Which, by the way, it’s been determined, some people living in fear and experiencing chaos cope by turning to selfish ideas like nationalism, white supremacy, racism, religious intolerance, materialism and they steal and hoard.  I think it explains a lot.  The Christian Nationalism, the homophobia, racism, xenophobia, sexism, and all the rest.  But is all this fear and chaos naturally occurring?  We’ve been through a lot in the last decade from Covid to Trump.  Is this all random or has this been set into motion as a strategy?

Toward the end of the book, it explained how governments and the CIA understand how people react under stress and during chaos because they’ve studied the behaviors. People go into "fight or flight" mode. They behave as I just described. What's at the heart of it is fear of death though they're not consciously aware of it. The studies by governments and the CIA in particular is called terror management theory.  So if the powers that be know the public is going to clutch their pearls and grab their guns and fear anyone and anything NOT like them, all they have to do is stoke what separates and divides us. Make us fear each other while they laugh all the way to the bank:  Have Gatsby type parties at the White House while they cut SNAP benefits. Pillage our personal data. Make deals that are conflicts of interest and raid the Treasury of our tax dollars while they crash the economy and devise rug pull scams.  Build bunkers and personal satellites while their tools stoke fear and division. Hell, even try to make it so only rich white men have any power and standing at all.

But I’ve started thinking about something in addition to all that.  It’s my own conspiracy theory about the Law of Attraction and New Thought ideas regarding what you focus on manifests. Have those ideas been hijacked for "their" benefit, too.? Are they being used as part of the strategy? I mean if you can get everyone to roll over and play dead, not care about anyone but themselves, to envelope themselves in love and light and flowery language all day - "LA DE DA DE DA" - rather than resisting the destruction of democracy, imperfect as it was, then maybe you’ve got yourself an indirect coup.  If you can get people to be neutral, not take sides, not risk their disconnection from The Flow and adopt the both-sides-ism that both sides are equally bad, when that’s so totally untrue, then you've got a public that's going to do nothing as billionaires and the kakistocracy run amok. 

If you can get a large percentage of the country to think that way then who’s going to prevail?  The people spiritually bypassing in cowardice and selfishness that let the powers that be run rampant without saying a word or lifting a finger? Or the majority of us who want to restore order, institute Democratic Socialism that serves us all and believe shifting from 3-D to 5-D REQUIRES knowing what’s going on, using critical thinking, AND employing sacred activism - all the while staying connected to the Source and shift of collective consciousness.  Because we can do both. We can chew gum and walk. So who wins the day?  The kakistocracy and billionaires with the help of the do-nothings or the rest of us trying to create a world that works for us all?

Imagine if instead, we learned we were One, with nothing to fear. That there is more than enough for us all if it's just distributed properly. We would see us all equally valued, deserving of dignity and opportunity to survive and thrive. That would take all their power away. That would change everything.
