High Vibration Hypocrisy? A 5-D Self Con?

Is the 5-D Shift so many are talking about just cowardice and white privilege? Is it more separation instead of unity? Does it give us a license to become insulated from the pain of others?
So here’s what I’m chewing on this week - and apparently Stephen Dinan of the Shift Network is too. (I'll post a link to his article later in the newsletter.) I’m going to call it the 5-D Self Con or the High Vibration Hypocrisy. I believe humanity is going through many changes but some of the shifts might not be happening the way some might think it is. Listen, we all have blind spots, especially when it comes to self awareness. We might not see what others see or others might see what’s not really there, maybe we're not seeing clearly and being objective. But is 5-D Ascension talk being used by some to justify cowardice and/or protect white privilege? Could it just be another idea that separates instead of unifies us? Does it give license to not know what's going on or to insulate ourselves from the pain of others?
Hear me out. There are a few moving parts to this:
This new idea of elevating or ascending to 5-D consciousness to some means leaving behind those mired in 3-D awareness - fear, hate, grievance, depression, discrimination. On the face of it that sounds pretty good. Who wants to live in that kind of toxic energy? I've heard some say 3-D and 5-D people on Earth won't be able to even see each other; they'll be separated by dimensions or invisibility! This 3-D vs 5-D might even be part of the new “war” phase that astrology gurus say we’re going through here in the US right now. Yes, apparently the way the stars are aligned now and into the immediate future reflect where they were during past World Wars and the Civil War. And we just repeat these astrological patterns, so we’re effectively in planetary “war mode” right now. Interesting some of the battles might be the same:
Civil War was about economics, racism and slavery, and Trump’s immigration policies are about brown vs white. We're also seeing this is about classism or rich vs poor, which the Civil War was about too as the powers that be wanted to keep poor white people from joining in solidarity with black people lest they unify and come after them. We put Japanese in internment camps during WWII as we’re doing immigrants now. Many are innocent but quotas have to be met! Considering the income inequality, at the root of much grievance is slave wages many are being paid as our tax dollars go to corporate welfare, genocides and the 1%. BUT - I’m wondering if besides the struggle or war between left and right, rich and poor, even men and women, is there a war simmering between those who are aspiring to ascend and elevate from 3-D to 5-D consciousness? Some like to think they have – but really haven’t – as they look down on and judge those they decide are not up to their more lofty 5-D level.. Or they want to separate from a part of humanity. It all has a rapture-esque feel to me. Is this the New Age Rapture?
Case in point was a recent podcast and newsletter of mine titled Rise Up or Stand Down. (Link below) I discussed those who think they’re spiritually superior but they’re actually spiritually bypassing. I contend they’re feigning love and compassion because they don’t want to be seen being political or get their hands dirty with politics – that “resist fascism” thing social justice people are doing – they rallys, protests and resistance is all 3-D low frequency consciousness. While I contend this “division” or duality they’re creating with this belief is not 5-D thinking because it’s really not love and compassion no more than their ability to “sit alongside evil and call it peace” is love and compassion. It’s just cowardly and being complicit and in denial. It might even be about white privilege. ICE isn't coming for them! They feel safe - for now.
Or put in vibrational frequency language, I'm quite sure striving for courage, fairness, equality, upholding what's right or justice and agape, love of the common good, are higher vibrational frequencies than feigned love, compassion, or apathy, fear and selfishness. And is it true love and compassion if you're tuning out injustices, insulating yourself to only your own needs to elevate and ascend? Seems like a cognitive disconnect to me.
Likewise, can a person really be vibrating at 5-D level consciousness and support Donald Trump? Seriously, the walking crime spree? He is the new archetype for corruption, chaos and cruelty. Some consider him the anti-Christ with good reason when you do the comparisons between the biblical anti-christ and what he's been doing. The guy propping up the genocide in GAZA, tearing down the White House, playing golf and getting stroked as we enter November and many poor people won't have food. Something is very wrong if you can say you’re at or getting close or even striving for 5-D consciousness if you’re not helping the world survive and overcome the danger he and Project 2025 presents. Something is very wrong if you practice discrimination (opposing DEI) and can call it love or think that might promote unity. Why does choosing right over wrong and having good judgment not apply in this time of Trump?
As a random example, I mean a person might go out and feed the homeless then come home and charge their client double their fee because they need the money – is that really 5-D consciousness? Or is it really opportunism and exploitation? Or they decided to vote, which is good, but not really knowing the issues (which is bad) they then reconcile their low information situation by meditating before filling out their ballot.
I hope their spirit guides weren't on a coffee break when they tapped in.
Or maybe they don’t involve themselves in what’s going on in the world and just envelope themselves in what they want to create because they think good will just magically manifest and everything will take care of itself. Yes, let’s just sit back, do nothing and watch things unfold. Have they not thought good things will come because we stood against evil and won that way? Without social justice warriors and just passive and flowery thinking Europe today might be a continent called Hitlerland, a bastion for white supremacy and eugenics. The US might be a country that legally allows slavery. ICE would be the new secret police disappearing brown skinned people so white people don’t feel they’re in the minority. OH WAIT! That last thing -- that’s really happening now!
IMHO, the cognitive disconnect is amazing.
As for Stephen Dinan, he wrote an article called Spiritual Bypassing With Both Sides
and used phrases like these New Agers/Law of Attraction people are insulating themselves from the pain of others, skimming the uncomfortable, elevating their egos as they claim the high ground and feel superior. They want validation of their community members and a simple life with little discernment or critical thinking. They don't want to face the destruction but just float above it. He called it ignorant, escapist and pseudo spiritual escapism.
YES! That's exactly what I've been saying based on conversations and observations. I was just on a zoom call in a book study with this kind of thinking and they are imagining a New World with absolutely no idea or plan how to get there from here beyond magickal and flowery thinking.
So, I’m just saying people are priding themselves on being more evolved – morally, spiritually – thinking they’re living the 5-D life, when maybe they’re just kidding themselves? They’re hiding. Playing it safe. They’re practicing an immature version of New Age spirituality. As they aspire to be loving and compassionate they’re turning their backs on doing the work to help make the world a better, fairer, more equal and peaceful place.
You might not be able to legislate spirituality or morality but you can recognize and choose right from wrong and have good judgment. You can even name the evil-doers! And that’s not low vibration 3-D behavior. Professing it is low vibration or low frequency 3-D behavior is just gaslighting yourself. Which isn’t ascension-like behavior after all. It’s High Vibration Hypocrisy.
