DEMETER with Robin Corak

The beauty and power of goddesses and myths has long been a driving force in our guest, Robin Corak's life. She is the author of Persephone: Practicing the Art of Personal Power and now, Demeter. Robin will share with listeners both the known and unknown myths of Demeter, such as those where she exhibits her anger and vengeance. She'll explain how working with Demeter can help us with issues of grief and loss as well as the role Demeter might play in modern day social justice efforts. We'll also delve into the "mother wound" and what Demeter can teach us about this type of wound.
Robin is a certified End of Life doula and has several years of experience with modalities such as Reiki, coaching and tarot reading. She writes a blog for Agora Patheos entitled "Phoenix Rising". Passionate about helping others achieve their full potential, Robin is also the CEO of a large, non-profit social services organization in Washington state.
